“After living and working for more than 14 years abroad, in Spain, Germany and UK, Francesco Bartoli has just come back to his hometown called Velletri (a little urban center located up the south hills just outside Rome). Here, in connection with the natural environment, the Italian visual artist has placed his last creation: A lovely studio space that hosts workshops, shows and presentations, but also artists from all over the world.” Marco Nocca, Professor of Art History, Fine Arts, Rome
This is a wonderful live / work space just outside Rome. Located near of one of the best cities in the world, this lovely place will help you to find the right inspiration to develop your artistic work. The newly renovated studio is perfect for video makers, designers, photographers or painters who do not have a large scale production. Perfect for someone who really wants to spend time organizing a new exhibition or finding inspiration in a very quiet and relaxed place.
I’m Francesco Bartoli, an italian artist living between Rome and London. I’m 37 years old and I have just come back home, in a little town called Velletri very close to Rome, after living for more than 14 years abroad. Most of the time I was living in Madrid but I also have been living in Glasgow and London.
Ipassi Studio is where I’m staying now, working and developing workshops for students from all over the world — a sort of Art Residency.
