"Cosmos" (work-in-progress), installation with archival newspaper, dimensions variable

Cosmos is an installation as part of a larger project, Rocket Rain (working title) to be exhibited as a solo exhibition in Human Resources in Los Angeles in November 2016.  The installation is comprised of (unsolved) crossword puzzles from the archives of Kayhan newspaper during the nine months of the Iran-Iraq War the artist’s mother was pregnant with her second child in 1986 in Tehran, Iran.

For the installation, the artist is seeking 3 large (about 4 ft x 8 ft) pieces of fine plexiglass or thin glass. Currently a resident at the Immigration/Emigration Residency at Santa Fe Art Institute the artist is in need of similar resources for an iteration of this installation at the gallery at SFAI.

Possible types of material to experiment with for this installation are large sheet of glass, plexiglass, frosted plexiglass or a mix of two or three of these material.
