Tours at The Art Institute of Chicago

Giving a tour at the Art Institute of Chicago

I am leading tours at the Art Institute of Chicago. The tour highlights the museum’s collection from the historic part of the Art Institute to the contemporary collection in the modern wing.

During the tour, we will be exploring current exhibitions or special areas you’d like to visit.

We will meet in the lobby of the 111 S. Michigan avenue entrance to begin the tour. This tour does not include entrance fee to the museum.

$25 per person for a two hour tour.

Giving a tour at the Art Insitute of Chicago

Darrell explained every work of art I requested and more. He tailored his presentation to my 11 year old granddaughters as I had requested. He involved them by asking questions and encouraging them to share their thoughts. When he learned that one of the girls enjoys making jewelry, he brought us to a special exhibit about ceremonial Middle Eastern and Eastern. We truly enjoyed the experience!  – Judy Kroll, guest
