From my 2015 series, 'Sky on Ground'
This painting is part of an on-going series called ‘Sky on Ground,’ which are paintings of fragmented images of architecture and trees viewed in puddles. The work examines aspects of disorientation, displacement, and our quest for a sense of belonging.
